Volvic had a fresh new product to drop for the summer, so we dropped a touch of fruit (well a lot) into the mix.

Blending comedy, technical camerawork and the appeal of the refreshing summer vibe of Volvic we developed a series of Instagram stories with the ambition of catching scrollers with punchy colour, unexpected action and the all important ‘watch till the end’ factor.

Opening on an office of muted colours and equally muted employees with muffled background hum of clocks, photocopiers and phones. At their desks, our characters sigh, then lift a bottle of Volvic Rhubarb to their lips. The scene immediately changes with the camera rotating above our character and around the office taking us briefly underwater as our characters springs up in a swimming pool surrounded by water and fruit.

To land a summer feel (while shooting in March) we had an ambitious vision, securing a one of a kind rig used in the A$AP Rocky's Forever music video to shoot the rotation scene with a full crew pool side (and in the pool).

The colours are super saturated, the sun is shining down as they burst into what appears to be a pool party. However before they have a chance to fully register everything the camera spins back to the office. The characters looks around perplexed, but nothing in the office has changed. It is still the dull grey office we saw before... The characters grins and immediately takes another sip of water in order to trigger another mini trip to the pool. As the camera begins to rotate, the end-card and final super spins in to place landing the taste credentials and line, “Dive into flavour, well, that’s refreshing”

Launching on instagram and digital OOH to shake up the summer drinks category.
